There are limited vacant positions available for summer positions due to the number of returning staff from previous summers. You must be a full-time student returning to school full-time in September to qualify for a summer student position.

Applications for Summer Jobs in the Roads, Parks and Fleet Department

The application deadline for summer jobs in the Roads, Parks and Fleet Department was January 31, 2013.  Applications will be accepted after that date, however they will not be reviewed unless we are unable to fill our positions with existing applications.

Applications for Summer Day Camps and School Year Part-Time Jobs in the Recreation, Facilities, and Transit Services, (RFT) Department.

1. School year part-time positions are available in a variety of areas –   We are currently recruiting for our Aquatics Section for Lifeguard/Instructors.  All candidates must have their NLS, LSS Swim Instructor, LSS Instructor and Standard First Aid with CPR “C” (including AED) Qualifications. 
2. The application deadline for Summer Camps/Inclusion, Marina and Aquatics was January 31, 2013 and these positions are now filled.
