The City of Barrie owns approximately 16 acres of serviced industrial land.  In addition to this, there are over 1,000 acres of privately owned industrial lands within the City of Barrie.

Barrie’s Industrial Parks provide excellent access to internal and out-of-town destined roadways, and are just minutes from Highway 400, a six lane, controlled access highway which runs directly through Barrie to the Greater Toronto Area. Barrie is located within a one-day trucking distance to more than 60% of Canada’s market area.

  • Mapleview and Veterans Drive Area
  • Located 2 minutes west of Highway 400, at the north west corner of Mapleview Drive West and Veterans Drive

  • Lot coverage requirements allows for a minimum of 20 percent to a maximum of 50 percent

Comments

  • These lands are publically owned by the City of Barrie and can be sub-divided.  The MWBP does not have rail access.
