Barrie Molson Centre - Building Amenities

ADMINISTRATION OFFICES
The Barrie Molson Centre Administration Offices are located at the southeast corner of the Centre. For more information on the Barrie Molson Centre or how we can best meet your event needs contact the, Facility Supervisor at (705) 739-4220 ext. 4620.

EVENT SEATING CAPACITY 
Sporting Events - 4,200 seats; Concerts- 4,700 seats
Seating plans can be designed to accommodate a wide variety of events.

EXHIBIT SPACE
With over 22,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, the Barrie Molson Centre can comfortably accommodate trade and consumer shows as well as exhibits.

MEETING ROOMS
The licensed restaurant and Barrie Molson Centre lounge are ideal for meetings or business seminars. In addition, there is a meeting room with a capacity of 55 people that is suitable for meetings or business seminars.

PARKING
The Barrie Molson Centre has 1670 parking spaces directly adjacent to the centre

DRESSING ROOMS
The Barrie Molson Centre has four dressing rooms that can accommodate 20-25 persons each.

OFFICIALS ROOMS 
The Barrie Molson Centre has two separate officials rooms. One room will house six referees while the other will house three.

FIRST AID 
First aid room is located on the ground floor.

LIGHTING
The Barrie Molson Centre has excellent lighting levels for all events including: hockey, figure skating, and televised events. Spot light locations, located around the centre, are provided with 30amp/25OV/single phase services.

SOUND CONTROL ROOM
Located in the Northwest corner of the Centre, with an excellent view of the ice surface area, the computerized sound system is used for special events announcing, priority paging and background music for events. A music operator is provided upon request. Personal sound equipment and microphones can be hooked up at either the press box, players bench, or penalty box areas.

ELECTRICAL POWER
Bus Power (120 Amp); Lighting (400 Amp); and Sound (200 Amp). Portable electronic distribution boards available upon request. A licensed inhouse electrician is required for all electrical tie-ins and related work.

CLIMATE CONTROL
The design of the mechanical system enables the building to provide for a wide range of spectator and other events on a year round basis. The building is fully air conditioned.

REFRIGERATION PLANT
A total of 121 tons of refrigeration plus a sophisticated electronic control system will provide excellent ice conditions suitable for hockey, figure skating and curling.

BUILDING SAFETY SYSTEM
The facility is equipped with the latest building emergency safety systems and procedures.

UNLOADING / LOADING
The Barrie Molson Centre has a 13' high by 10' wide unloading loading door for your convenience. The door is located at the east end of the Centre. The unloading / loading area can accommodate buses or tractor trailers. A forklift may be rented at cost.
