Biography

Rodney and his family have been residents and community advocates in the City of Barrie for three generations. Rod was raised in Barrie and now lives in Ward 3 with his wife and two small children.

Rodney earned a degree in Political Science and Communications and a Graduate Certificate in Mediation (Dispute Resolution) from York University. Rod also received a Human Resources Diploma from Georgian College.

After spending several years as the Director of Human Resources for Moore Packaging, one of Barrie’s largest private employers, Rod started his own business, Redline Strategies, providing Human Resources management and Dispute Resolution services to businesses throughout the province.

Rod was elected in the 2006 election as the Councillor for Ward 3.
