PART TIME/SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Leisure and Facilities Services employs over 200 part time staff annually to provide services to residents in our facilities, recreational and instructional programs. All positions receive training and may require certain qualifications such as First Aid and CPR.

How to Apply? 

Application forms are available at City Hall, Allandale Recreation Centre, Holly Community Centre and the East Bayfield Community Centre. As well, the application form is available on-line.  Applications will be received at any time, however the deadline that applies for seasonal positions are as follows:

Summer Children's Camps - deadline January 31, 2010

- Co-ordinators
- Supervisors
- Leaders
- Jr. Leaders

Summer Aquatics - deadline January 31, 2010

- Instructors/Lifeguards (must hold National Lifeguard, AED and Swim & Lifesaving Instructor certificates)

Community & Senior Programs Instructors - Applications received any time

- Fitness Instructors, 55+ programs, etc.
- Special Interest - Yoga, Art, Sports, Preschool, Children, Dance, etc.

General Facility Positons - Applications received any time

- Desk Attendants
- Maintenance Staff

Arenas - Applications received any time

- Skate Patrollers
- Arena Attendants

Youth Centre - Applications received any time

- Special Events Staff
- Facility Supervisor
