artsVest

The artsVest program connects arts organizations with business patrons and in turn builds the arts sector in communities.

artsVest is a matching incentive and sponsorship training program designed by Business for the Arts to spark corporate engagement in arts & culture and build strong ties between public, private and cultural sectors. The program operated in Barrie from 2015 to 2016.

How It Works

This program connects arts organizations with business patrons and in turn build the arts sector. In successful communities, artsVest offers arts and culture organizations an in-depth sponsorship training workshop and year-round support to build capacity within the local cultural sector.

By coaching arts and culture organizations on the art of sponsorship — from developing a strategy to creating a sponsorship proposal — artsVest aims to provide the participating organization with the ability to successfully apply for matching incentive grants, approach their local business community, and successfully generate new and diverse revenue streams.
