City of Barrie Landfill Extended Hours of Operation
To ensure a portion of the Landfill liner is installed prior to winter weather conditions, the City of Barrie will be revising Landfill reclamation operations to 24 hours a day from Sunday, August 8th to Sunday, August 29th, 2010. Waste will only be accepted at the Landfill from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. For more information on this project click here.

02/05/10 - Fire Permits for Outdoor Solid Fuel Burning Appliances Fire permits are available online or you can pick yours up at Fire Station #1, located at 65 Vespra Street between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. If you acquired a permit last year, you do not need to renew it this year.
