Traffic Lights and Signs

Traffic signs are meant to guide, warn and regulate traffic flow. The City crew maintains existing signs, replacing them when they wear out or are damaged, and they install new signs when approved by the appropriate authority.

You can help the maintenance process by giving the nearest street address of the light or the number marked on the pole and a description of the problem such as: light out, cycling on and off, remaining on during daylight hours or other physical damage. Be certain to mention conditions where wires are down or exposed. Always stay clear of broken poles or tree limbs in contact with electrical systems.
