The Adventures of Sparky the Fire Dog

Thank you for taking part in our fire safety program!

As outlined on the fire safety checklist, each child is to spend a week with Sparky during which they fill two pages of the scrapbook.  Please remind them to paste their completed checklist into the book. In addition to your classroom Sparky, we have provided one additional Sparky for your school just in case yours doesn’t make it back to class on time. Once the scrapbook is complete, please contact the Barrie Fire & Emergency Service to arrange for a visit from one of our fire crews.

Our firefighters will visit your classroom to view the students completed scrapbook, talk about fire fighting, show off their gear and conduct a fire truck tour. This should fit nicely with your community helper’s curriculum.
