TRANSIT SERVICE CHANGES

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, APRIL 30, 2012 Route 22 Crosstown service will begin at 7:15 am with the last bus at 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday.  SATURDAY SERVICE WILL BE DISCONTINUED.

AND

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, APRIL 30, 2012 Route 60 GO Shuttle from the Holly Community Centre to the South Barrie GO Station WILL NO LONGER BE IN SERVICE.

Barrie GO Station

Beginning on January 30, 2012 Barrie’s new Allandale Waterfront GO Station will be operational. The new GO stop, just south of our waterfront area will include a 12-car side rail platform with heated shelters and a mini-platform.

Fare Notice

Effective May 1st, Barrie Transit and BACTS fare rates are changing.  The new fare rates FOR monthly passes are effective two weeks prior to May 1, 2012.  Please refer to 2012 Transit fares in the Downloads section of this page for complete fare information.
