Late Evening Taxicab Parking Spaces

The City of Barrie and Downtown Barrie BIA have worked together to provide late evening taxicab parking spaces in the downtown core for the safe and efficient arrival/departure of patrons from area establishments.

Taxicab stand parking stalls are designated parking stalls for use by taxicabs to safely and efficiently move patrons to and from nearby establishments located within the core.

Taxicab stands allow patrons to travel via taxicab and reduce the negative impacts to traffic operations along busy roadways.

These areas are located along sections of Dunlop Street and on Bayfield Street and they are in effect for late evening operation.
