Change your routine and change your life!  With numerous options to choose from, Tai Chi to Yoga, computers to watercolor; you can exercise your mind with performing arts or specialty programs that suit the needs of men and women alike!  Our wide variety of program times and locations accommodate anyone’s hectic timetable. Woodworking Shop

The shop is open weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm and available to members.  Membership is offered to those over the age of 19.  A shop monitor is available during open hours to answer questions or help with equipment.  A finishing room and tool crib are also available.  To be eligible to use the shop, potential members must complete a shop orientation, including machine safety training, and have some woodworking experience.  Courses and seminars are offered throughout the year; see the latest Recreation Barrie Guide for detailed descriptions.

Computer Lab

Do you need to update your resume? Do you need to find something on line? Or are you simply interested in spending some time on a computer? Drop by our computer lab; we have lab passes and times available for all schedules and budgets.  Passes are available for purchase at our front desk.  See our complete line up of computer courses in the Recreation Barrie Guide too!
