The Technical and Stormwater Operations Section is responsible for conducting compliance related inspections and investigations of all stormwater infrastructure including stormwater management facilities, Oil and Grit Separators, Low Impact Development, Creeks and ditches as well as associated water quality monitoring. Other duties include investigating complaints and responding to public concerns of related infrastructure, work order and records management for roads and drainage and assisting with the preparation for winter control, surface and rail operation activities.
Work Term: May – August 2021 (4 Months). The successful candidate must be willing and able to commence work on or about May 3, 2021.
Location: 165 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie, Ontario
Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., The successful candidate must be prepared to work additional hours as required.
Wage: $17.52 per hour
