Barrie City Council invites applications from citizens who desire to have their names considered for appointment to the following committee.
This Committee is being established to undertake an examination of Council Compensation including: Mayor and Councillor base compensation and benefits; options and recommendations for benefits plan changes as presented by City of Barrie staff; expense account amounts and allocation of expenses; remuneration associated with all boards and committees of Council; Council expense related policies; and such other compensation related matters as determined by the Committee.
The City of Barrie is seeking to appoint five (5) citizen members for a term of office from May 2021 to January 2022.
Interested individuals should have a background or experience related to finance, accounting or human resources, given the nature of the Committee.
Application forms containing details regarding qualifications and applicable experience for the above appointment must be submitted using the prescribed application form, and may be directed to the undersigned at the Legislative and Court Services Department at City Hall, 70 Collier Street, P.O.
