The applicant has requested a change in the Zoning on the two (2) properties from Residential Single Detached (R1) to Mixed-Use Node (MU1). The proposed MU1 zone is subject to Site Plan Control and as such a formal development concept is not proposed at this time.

November 21 2019Notice of Completion: Tollendale Mill Road Culvert Upgrade Municipal Class Environmental Assessment
The City of Barrie has completed a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Tollendal Mill Road culvert.  The EA was completed under the Drainage Master Plan to identify the existing drainage deficiencies and develop drainage solutions throughout the City.  One of the projects identified is the upgrade of the Tollendal Mill Road culvert at Lovers Creek.  The existing arch metal culvert will be replaced with a bridge spanning the watercourse.  This Notice of Completion is to fulfill the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment requirements for the Tollendal Mill Road culvert only.
