Development Charges By-law 2014-108Communicated on behalf of the Development Services Division of the Finance Department. This Bulletin clarifies the existing Development Charges By-law 2014-108 regarding the addition of dwelling units to existing residential buildings.
Health Inspected Premises Communicated on behalf of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. Effective July 2018, there are new legal requirements under the Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA) that apply to all businesses operating an inspected premise under the HPPA.
Property Owner Consent Letter Effective July 2018, a Property Owner Consent Letter is required to be submitted with building permit applications where a lessee or tenant is applying on behalf of the owner.
SCHEDULE 1: Designer Information The Building Code Act requires that designers who prepare documents to be submitted with permit applications have the necessary qualifications set out in the building code and that they provide information about their qualifications on the Schedule 1 form and submitted document.
