The City prides itself as a forward-thinking organization leading the charge in municipal services. In the same vein, we strongly support our businesses in harnessing the power of innovation in their own organizations.
Municipal Innovation Exchange (MIX) is a partnership between the City of Barrie, the City of Guelph, City of London and is supported by MaRS Discovery District (MaRs). The goal of MIX is to improve and expand the practice of innovation procurement in the municipal sector and create practices that are tested, scalable and sustainable.

There’s always something new happening in Barrie’s business community, bringing buzz with increased networking and conversations taking place.
