National Youth Week 2022 

We’re celebrating National Youth Week from May 17 with free recreation and culture activities for youth to inspire, engage and connect.

Activity schedule for National Youth Week 2022

All programming is for Barrie youth aged 1319. Activities are free, drop-in, first come-first served.

Meridian Place and Five Points Theatre, presented by Pratt Homes & Pratt Development​
(Downtown Barrie) 

​“Shine Green” Light Projections: The existing lights at the Five Points Theatre, presented by Pratt Homes & Pratt Development, and the lights above the canopy at Meridian Place will be ​turned green as part of the “Shine Green” campaign for Children’s Mental Health Week.​

Youth Bosses: At this special event, you’ll be able to work with experts from the Small Business Centre ​to collaborate on creating a company and forming a business plan. You will also learn about the Summer Company Program, available resources, funding and supports to youth entrepreneurs in Barrie.​
