The Barrie Chamber of Commerce provides numerous services, including business retention and attraction, programs and events, member benefits to improve members' bottom line, solutions to members' workforce challenges, government advocacy, and more to create and sustain a positive business climate for our community, including demonstrating a commitment to small business assistance and economic inclusion.

Downtown Barrie Business Association (BIA)

The Downtown Barrie Business Improvement Area (BIA) was established to help maintain and enhance the city’s downtown core​ encompassing from High Street to Poyntz and Collier/Ross Streets to Simcoe. The Downtown Barrie BIA is organized into five components (Executives, Board Members, Partners, Staff and Committees), all of whom work and co-ordinate together to fulfill short-term goals and long-term strategies.

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) provides safe, high-quality care for residents across a large geographical region including Simcoe County and the District of Muskoka.

As the largest health centre in Simcoe Muskoka, RVH provides highly specialized services, procedures and technology not found anywhere else in the region. This includes the only Interventional Radiology suites for minimally invasive surgeries, a fully-automated laboratory, cardiac care (intensive) unit, as well as dedicated trauma rooms in its large Emergency department.

RVH is also home to the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre, meaning distance is not a factor for residents receiving lifesaving cancer treatment.

Tourism Barrie

Tourism Barrie is a destination marketing organization and the official tourist office of the City of Barrie. Tourism Barrie creates and coordinates tourism marketing opportunities for the greater Barrie area by creating partnerships with tourism-related businesses to promote the area as a four-season destination. Tourism Barrie operates a year-round visitor information centre and maintains tourismbarrie.com.
