The second session in the Creative Barrie Workshop Series for the Arts is an in-person workshop on starting a not-for-profit organization.

This workshop provides a high-level understanding of the key steps for founding a NFP which is primarily governed by the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (ONCA).

This workshop outlines the essential stages to guide prospective founders:

• Legal Incorporation
• Governance and Structure
• Financial Management and Reporting
• Fundraising
• Ongoing Compliance
