The Fleet Asset Management Plan addresses the City’s fleet of vehicles and equipment used by staff to provide services to the community. It summarizes the current state, risk profile, levels of service, and funding needs of the City's fleet.
This plan addresses the requirements in O.Reg 588/17: Asset Management Planning for Municipal Infrastructure in respect of the City’s fleet assets, including the required content for the 2024 and 2025 deadlines in the regulation.
As the City continues to focus on supporting the services our community needs, while keeping tax increases low, City staff and Council must find efficient ways to deliver services. The Fleet Asset Management Plan supports these priorities by identifying the strategies needed to optimize the lifecycle costs for the City’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Implementing this plan will enable the City to ensure that its fleet remains reliable, cost-effective, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of our community.
