What’s happening in Barrie this Family Day

(Barrie, ON) – The City of Barrie has plenty of events and activities planned to keep you busy this Family Day (Monday, February 21). Here's what residents need to know:

The City of Barrie is hosting a Family Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Barrie Community Sports Complex (2100 Nursery Road, Midhurst). The event offers FREE outdoor activities including axe throwing (ages 10+, skating, broomball, horse-drawn sleigh rides, crafts, kicksleds, tobagganing and a bonfire.

For those looking for indoor fun, all three recreation centres will offer a variety of drop-in activities (see chart below) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Family Day. Pre-registration is required. View programs and register viaplay.barrie.ca.
