About the Proposed Development

The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment Application is to rezone the lands from Residential Multiple Dwelling Second Density (RM2) and Institutional (I) to Institutional I (SP-299). This would extend the existing zoning for Victoria Village over the subject lands and provide consistent zoning across all land in their ownership.

The applicant has indicated that the proposed re-zoning is a component of their master-planning, to round out their continuity of care model, and will also position them better to make additional grant applications to expand their services.
