About the Proposed Development

AuroEdge Ltd. has submitted an application for Amendments to the Official Plan and a Zoning By-law to facilitate the development of one 16 storey, purpose-built rental, apartment building with 400 residential dwelling units.  A third submission was received on February 13, 2025 which currently is under review.

The Official Plan Amendment seeks to modify the policies to permit a 16 storey residential apartment building.  The proposed zoning by-law amendment seeks to rezone the subject lands to ‘Residential Apartment Dwelling Second Density with Special Provisions’ (RA2-2)(SP-XXX) and 'Environmental Protection’ (EP).  Special provisions are proposed to reduce the interior side yard and rear yard setbacks, landscape open space and landscape buffer area, and increase the gross floor area, the lot coverage and the building height.
