The Circle at the Centre rink closed for the season on March 14, 2025. Due to the mild temperatures, the mechanical equipment could no longer maintain a suitable and safe ice surface.
This rink is maintained by City staff. The ice rink is for pleasure skating only; hockey is not permitted. Site offers parking and washrooms. Change rooms are not available.
Skate Rentals & Sharpening Services
In the second year of a two-year pilot project, Simcoe Skate Rentals offered skate, helmet & skate aid rentals and skate sharpening services. Beginning in December, these services were available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as the winter break and March Break (weather-permitting).
