The Circle at the Centre rink was closed for the season effective February 28, 2024. Due to mild temperatures forecasted, the mechanical equipment will be unable to maintain a suitable and safe ice surface. 

This rink is maintained by City staff. The ice rink is for pleasure skating only; hockey is not permitted. Site offers parking and washrooms. Change rooms are not available.

Skate Rentals

New for winter 2023/2024, Simcoe Skate Rentals provided skate and helmet rentals and skate sharpening services at the Circle at the Centre rink as part of a two-year pilot project. The skate rental services were offered Friday through Sunday, on holidays and as requested for events.
