Outdoor Fields, Courts & Rinks

The City offers a range of outdoor playing fields to satisfy all your sports and activity needs, and operates and manages eight arena ice pads and seven outdoor ice rinks. In addition, volunteer-maintained outdoor rinks are located in parks around Barrie.

The Outdoor Recreation Facility Study helps guide the City in making decisions about where and what type of future facilities should be prioritized in the future.

Listing

Outdoor City-maintained rinks currently display by default below.

In the event of heavy rains or inclement weather, the Parks Operations department may close or restrict the use of rinks if they are deemed to be unfit for use. This listing and the Inclement Weather Hotline, 705-739-4215, are updated accordingly.

Outdoor fields and courts are closed for the season and will reopen in the spring. Please stay off the fields to prevent damage and any preseason maintenance delays.
