Four main beaches on the shores of beautiful Kempenfelt Bay are regularly maintained by the City:

  • Johnson’s Beach, 2 Johnson Street
Lifeguards on duty daily, 11:30am–5:30pm, June 28–August 23, 2024 (weather permitting)
  • Minet’s Point Beach, 10 Lismer Boulevard

At Centennial Beach and Johnson’s Beach, where lifeguards on duty, signs are posted behind each lifeguard chair to communicate when lifeguards are on duty. Swim buoy lines and drop-off markers are anchored out from the beach. The swim buoy lines mark the designated swimming areas recommended for swimmers.
