Active transportation is any form of human-powered transportation. Walking and cycling are the primary modes of active transportation.

Parking
Paid parking downtown is enforced weekdays, 9am–5pm. In specific waterfront areas, paid parking is always enforced for non-residents and free with a Waterfront Parking Pass.

Barrie Transit Bus Service
Barrie Transit offers conventional service and specialized transit services for people with mobility restrictions.

GO Transit
Barrie has two GO Stations, and the City provides free Barrie Transit when connecting to or from the GO Train.
