(Barrie, ON) – The following City of Barrie services will be affected on the Victoria Day holiday—Monday, May 19:
- Recreation/Community Centres will be closed on Monday, May 19.
- City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 19.
- Barrie Transit: There will be no transit service on Monday, May 19.
- Fireworks reminder: Residents are permitted to use fireworks on the Victoria Day holiday—Monday, May 19—as per the Regulatory Matters By-law. Fireworks are permitted only until 11 p.m. on the day of the celebration, per the Noise By-law. Please review fireworks safety reminders at barrie.ca/FireworksSafety.
- Parking: Downtown parking (on-street and lots) is free on statutory holidays, including Monday, May 19. Parking is not free in the Marina and Hybrid parking lots on statutory holidays (rates are enforced in these lots 24/7/365).
