TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Barrie has passed By-law Number 2026-076 on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 pursuant to the provision of Section 34(18) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13.
AND TAKE NOTICE that By-law Number 2026-076 is in accordance with Direction Number MDIR007-26, under Bill 3, the Strong Mayors, Building Homes Act, 2022, in accordance with subsections 284.11.1(1)(b) and 284.11.1(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
IF YOU WISH TO APPEAL the decision of the City of Barrie to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) in respect to the By-law, you may do so within twenty (20) days of the issuance of this notice by filing a Notice of Appeal via the OLT e-file at https://olt.gov.on.ca/e-file-service/ by selecting [City of Barrie] as the Approval Authority or by mail to the City Clerk – City of Barrie, no later than 4:30 p.m. on or before Sunday, July 12, 2026 . The filing of an appeal after 4:30 p.m., in person or electronically, will be deemed to have been received the next business day. If the e-file portal is down, you can submit your appeal to: OLT.submissions@barrie.ca.
