Barrie Community Sports Complex
The Barrie Community Sports Complex opened in 2000 and is located at
2100 Nursery Road, Midhurst. The 118-acre complex features ball diamonds, turf fields, and three amenity buildings, including Coates Stadium, home of the
Barrie Baycats.

Can I take my dog to the Complex? | |
Yes, but dogs must be leashed at all times, and are not allowed on playing surfaces. Property to the north (MNR Forest) does not belong to the City of Barrie. |
Can I come and use the sporting fields and diamonds? | |
Use of the sporting fields and diamonds must be booked through the City of Barrie Recreation Department by contacting 705-739-4220 ext. 5419 |
What are the hours of operation? | |
During peak season (May – August), the Complex runs 7 days a week from 6:30am – 11:30pm. NOTE: Entrance gates are closed based on bookings as some days can end earlier than 11:30pm |
