Join us on Saturday, July 1st for family-friendly activities, entertainment and more at Meridian Place and Heritage Park in downtown Barrie.

Open Air Dunlop also takes place (starting at 8am) along Dunlop Street, featuring a variety of activities and more.

Programming Schedule

Programming schedule subject to change.

In the case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be held on Sunday, July 2. Information about cancellations or delays will be posted in the City's Facebook event and on Twitter, and announced by media partners. Every effort will be made to announce any rescheduling by 9pm on Saturday.

If fireworks are moved to Sunday, additional transportation after the fireworks from Barrie Transit will not be available. Barrie Transit will follow the regular Sunday service schedule on July 2, 2023.

Barrie Transit

On Saturday, July 1, Barrie Transit will run according to the Sunday service schedule. Additional trips departing the Downtown Terminal at approximately 10:30pm have been added to take people home after the fireworks show.
