Family Day Celebrations 2026

Families celebrated in downtown Barrie with indoor and outdoor fun at City Hall. The Family Day celebrations included a day full of free, family-friendly activities, including outdoor experiences at the Circle at the Centre Ice Rink. 

Festivities at City Hall

• Inclusion zone
• Free hot chocolate, courtesy of Moonwalk Entertainment
• Bonfire area for warming up

Parking

The City Hall parking lot on Worsley Street was closed on February 16 for the event. Reminder: Downtown parking (on-street and lots) is free on statutory holidays; waterfront parking is enforced 24/7/365.
