Visit this former Grand Trunk Railway station, now General John Hayter Southshore Community Centre, to tour the grounds and adjacent Military Heritage Park (including Vimy Oaks, the Victoria Cross cenotaph and the new RCAF Memorial). A member from Heritage Barrie will answer questions and provide information. Visit between 10am and noon, to participate in a Culture Days hands-on piping and snare drumming experience with Barrie Pipes and Drums!

Doors Open Barrie is once again paired with City’s Culture Days programming, providing a unique opportunity to present free, hands-on arts activities in Doors Open sites, giving you a chance to learn about Barrie’s arts, heritage and business community.
