Advisory Committee
This committee merges two previously existing advisory committees: Seniors Advisory and Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Mandate
- To champion issues related to the provision of an accessible community on behalf of all Barrie’s citizens.
- To represent and provide advice on seniors’ perspectives on municipal matters.

Meetings
The committee meets monthly in person. Agendas are available on the City’s electronic agenda management system. Please contact the Clerk's Office at CityClerks@barrie.ca with any questions regarding agendas. Effective February 2023, advisory committee meetings are no longer streamed via the City's YouTube channel.
