(Barrie, ON) – The City of Barrie reminds residents of the following affected services for Easter weekend:
- Recreation/Community Centres: Closed on Friday, April 18. The centres will offer regular and drop-in programming during the weekend and on Monday, April 21. Visit barrie.ca/RecDropins for the full schedule.
- City Hall: Closed on Friday, April 18 and on Monday, April 21.
- Barrie Transit: There will be no service on Friday April 18 and no service on Sunday, April 20. On Monday, April 21, there will be regular weekday service. Riders are encouraged to visit MyRideBarrie.ca to plan their trips.
- Landfill: Closed on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday holiday) and also closed on Sunday, April 20 and Monday, April 21 (regular closure dates). The landfill has extended depot hours on Saturday, April 19 (8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) to support continued ice storm cleanup. Visit barrie.ca/landfill for more information.
