TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Barrie has passed By-law Number 2025-095 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 pursuant to the provision of Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. O.18.

THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT of By-law Number 2025-095 is to designate the lands described as: PART OF LOT 18 AND ALL OF LOT 19, S/S BURTON ST ON PLAN 433 (ALLANDALE) AS IN RO106991; CITY OF BARRIE, and municipally known as: 126 Burton Avenue, Barrie, as being of cultural heritage value or interest.

IF YOU WISH TO APPEAL the By-law of the City of Barrie to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT), you may do so within thirty (30) days of the issuance of this notice by filing a Notice of Appeal via the OLT e-file at https://olt.gov.on.ca/e-file-service/ by selecting [City of Barrie] as the Approval Authority or by mail to the City Clerk – City of Barrie, no later than 4:30 p.m. on or before Sunday, October 26, 2025. The filing of an appeal after 4:30 p.m., in person or electronically, will be deemed to have been received the next business day.
