The City of Barrie is undertaking a Schedule ‘C’ Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to identify long-range multi-modal transportation and streetscape improvements to support planned growth. The study is focusing on two specific areas: the Bradford Street corridor and the intersections of Tiffin Street / Bradford Street and Tiffin Street / Lakeshore Drive (see study area map).
The second Public Information Centre (PIC 2) is being held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, to present community feedback received to date, an assessment of alternative solutions and identification of the preferred solution(s) for the corridor, a preliminary assessment of the Tiffin Street intersection alternative design concepts, and next steps. An information package will be posted at barrie.ca/EAstudies on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Hard copies of the package will be made available at City Hall (1st Floor, Planning Reception) for two weeks following PIC 2
