The goal of the City's recreation programs is to ensure all participants have a rewarding, memorable, safe and fun experience while participating in our programs. Providing a safe environment is a collaborative process.
We ask that parents/guardians share the following rules/guidelines with their child/ren:
- Respect others and their property
- Hands off
- No bullying behavior
- Listen to the leaders
- Stay with the group
- Use appropriate language
- Have fun!
If the above guidelines cannot be met, parent conferences may be required to address concerns and participants may be removed from the program.
Physical aggression towards another person or oneself may require a temporary or full suspension from our program(s) and/or our centre(s).
