TAKE NOTICE that The Corporation of the City of Barrie intends to permanently close and sell a portion of the highway described as Part of East Street Registered Plan 13, designated as Parts 1 and 2 on Plan 51R-44281, (known as Part of East Street), and being Part of PIN 58815-0248(LT), City of Barrie, shown as Subject Property on the site map below.
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that Council of The Corporation of the City of Barrie, after the publication of this Notice for four successive weeks on Barrie.ca, at its regular meeting to be held at the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 70 Collier Street, Barrie Ontario on September 16, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., consider passage of a By-law to permanently close a portion of the highway described as Part of East Street Registered Plan 13, designated as Parts 1 and 2 on Plan 51R-44281, (known as Part of East Street), and being Part of PIN 58815-0248(LT), City of Barrie, shown as Subject Property on the site map below.
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that The Corporation of the City of Barrie has declared the Subject Property surplus and, subject to Council approving the closure of the Subject Property as highway, and its sale, intends to sell the Subject Property.
