Discover Barrie’s rich and surprising history on this guided walking tour along the waterfront. We’ll visit landmarks like the charming old farmhouse, the Tourism Barrie building, the historic Southshore Centre, and the Allandale GO Station. Hear tales from the days when ice was harvested from Lake Simcoe, uncover the mystery of a sunken ship, and meet Kempenfelt Kelly - our very own lake monster. It’s a short walk, but packed with fascinating stories that bring Barrie’s shoreline vividly to life!
