Join us for our 2nd Annual Hometown Heroes event on Thursday, October 1 from 5–7 PM in the parking lot in front of X-Play at Park Place.
We’re bringing together some of Barrie’s hometown heroes for a night of family fun, community spirit and hometown pride, all while supporting YouthReach, helping ensure financial barriers don’t keep local kids from participating in extracurricular activities.
Come meet some of the incredible people who serve our community, including members of the Barrie Baycats, Barrie Fire, Barrie Police Service and Barrie Paramedics, along with City of Barrie staff who help keep our city running and members of CFB Borden. There will be plenty for kids to see and explore, with some of our local heroes sharing a closer look at the vehicles, equipment and tools they use on the job.
Rock 95 will be broadcasting live with a chance to win a pair of Birthday Bash tickets, and Wonder Woman and Spider-Man will be joining us for the fun too!
We’ll also have free cotton candy and face painting, plus drinks available for a $1 cash donation to YouthReach. We’re proud to have The Canadian Brewhouse joining us as well, with hot dogs available for purchase in support of YouthReach.
