(Barrie, ON) – The City of Barrie has lowered its flags to half-mast in honour of the Canadian Armed Forces members killed or seriously injured in a fire at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta.
As Remembrance Day approaches, this tragedy is a solemn reminder of the service and sacrifice of Canadian Armed Forces members. By lowering the flags, the City of Barrie joins communities across Canada in honouring their service and showing our support during this difficult time.
