Communities in Bloom (CIB) is an international program that originated in Canada and includes municipalities across the globe. Its mandate is to foster civic pride, environmental responsibility and beautification in the City of Barrie.
Objective
The objective of the CIB program is to inspire communities to enhance their quality of life and local environments through the imaginative use of plants, green spaces, and sustainable practices. The Communities in Bloom Committee fosters community involvement throughout all aspects of the program.

Meetings
The committee meets monthly in person. Agendas are available on the City’s electronic agenda management system. Please contact the Clerks Office at CityClerks@barrie.ca with any questions regarding agendas. Effective February 2023, advisory committee meetings are no longer streamed via the City's YouTube channel.
