The St. Vincent Park playground was replaced with new accessible play equipment (junior and senior structures), a wheelchair-accessible swing, a water exploratory table, and a nature play circuit.
Two stages of public engagement were completed as of February 27, 2022. Based on public input, the consultant for the project designed a preferred concept for the playground.
Upgrades to the site included paved pathways, lighting, and seating areas, as well as natural landscaping with the following natural plantings and pollinator plants:
- Coreopsis
- Purple Coneflower
- Black Eyed Susan
- Dense Blazing Star
- Wild Bergamont
- Blue Grama
- Little Bluestem

Final touches have been completed to the playground area and a new paved washroom trail was extended to Blake Street. The project is now complete.
