Flag raisings are meant to support registered charitable organizations, nationally recognized public awareness campaigns, not-for-profit organizations etc. Flag raisings are not available for “for-profit” companies, advocacy or social groups, political campaigns, or if in contradiction of any City policy. If you require clarification, contact the Mayor’s Office.
We ask that the flag be dropped off in advance to the Mayor’s Office.
We do our best to accommodate flag raising requests. We host a maximum of two per week with limited exception and will try our best to schedule as availability permits.
As we only schedule a City Representative to raise the flag, please feel free to invite the media, our local MPs and MPPs, community members etc.
Once confirmed, please feel free to submit your flag raising to our events calendar to let the public know about your flag raising!
