Review & Update Your School Support Designation

Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is responsible for collecting school support information. You're encouraged to review and update your school support designation with MPAC by June 1, 2026, to ensure accurate information is provided to Elections Ontario for the October 26, 2026, election. Updates can be made using MPAC’s Online School Support Tool.

Vote in Your New Ward on Election Day

In 2025, the City of Barrie underwent a comprehensive review of its ward boundaries. The new ward boundaries will take effect with the new term of Council. If your ward has changed, you will vote in your new ward in the upcoming Municipal Election. Residents will remain represented by their existing ward councillor until the new boundaries come into effect.
