Operations Branch
Water Operations
The City's Water Operations team is responsible for:
- The treatment of raw water from drinking water sources.
- Ensuring the integrity of the distribution system which directs potable water from the source to your tap.
- Providing timely and high quality customer services that promote consumer confidence.
This includes:
- Operation and maintenance of the Surface Water Treatment Plant, water supply wells and well treatment systems
- Operation and maintenance of pump stations, water towers, transmission watermains, and the water distribution system
- Installation, maintenance and inspection of water meters and remote reading devices
- Locate services for municipal infrastructure
