Background
The City’s Transportation Master Plan identified the need to widen Dunlop Street West to 3 lanes per direction from Ferndale Drive to Anne Street. This study will evaluate alternative design concepts and select a preferred design alternative for implementation through a comprehensive evaluation process and in consideration of comments received from agencies, affected groups and the public.
As part of this project, two PICs have been planned; the purpose of the PICs is to engage the public, present project information and solicit public comment. The first PIC was held on June 19, 2019. All property owners and tenants within the study area were sent an invitation letter and comment sheet.
Public Information Centre No. 2 and Invitation for Comment
A second PIC will be held to present detailed project information including design alternatives that illustrate individual property impacts. Project team members will be available to answer questions regarding the project and collect public comments. The PIC is an informal drop-in event.
