Purpose
Authorizes the billing and collection of water and wastewater services.
Once the water supply is available at a property or building, the owner is subject to all related charges as outlined in the Water and Wastewater Billing By-law and the Fees By-law. The Water and Wastewater Billing By-law covers the following:
- Water meters
Including installation, unauthorized interference, and associated repairs & maintenance - Water & wastewater billing
Including exemptions, final billing, fire protection billings, & collections - Discontinuance of use of water
- Property owner responsibilities
- Frozen water services
- Prohibitions
- Enforcement & Penalty
